About the Blog Name:
This blog was founded in April of 2009 and was cleverly named Pittsburgh Blitz to reflect the rich and storied, championship caliber, Pittsburgh Steelers defense. At the time of the founding of this blog, the team has 6 Super Bowl championship rings to boast. We will continue to cheer for even more rings, forging the Steelers destiny as the greatest NFL franchise ever. It is our goal to contribute to the franchise by writing about the team and creating a lasting community to share with fellow fans alike. We hope you enjoy your stay and tell all your friends about us.
Thanks for visiting.
What Pittsburgh Eats is Sausage - stacked with peppers, onions and sauce, on a great Mancini's Italian sausage bun. When the sauce starts to drip down your chin, the bun can work as a sponge so you don't lose a drop! The amounts of the sausage and spices can be adjusted to suit individual taste.
