Ben Roethlisberger in Trouble Again?

According to USA Today , authorities investigated Ben Roethlisberger in a case of public urination at the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. Dublin police spokesman David Ball said that no charges were filed and that Roethlisberger was not the one seen urinating.

A woman walking along the border of the course witnessed someone in Roethlisberger’s group urinating just before the 18th hole.

Roethlisberger is already on thin ice as he’s facing a six game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy after a college student accused him of rape at a Milledgeville, GA bar this spring. Prosecutors decided not to charge Roethlisberger in that case.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell could reduce the suspension to four games with good behavior, but this recent incident certainly doesn’t help his cause. Even though Roethlisberger was not charged in the Dublin case, it is known that Goodell hands down punishments despite the lack of formal charges.

Roethlisberger could easily see his suspension stay at six games for fraternizing with someone violating the law, regardless of how harmless the situation was.
