Patriot Games – Call for an Investigation into the New York Officiating Office and the Patriots

This article is for ALL NFL football fans. File a Complaint to the NFL with link provided below.

If I was going to fix a season for a team the place I would start is the officiating office in New York. That office has been handed incredible power and can overrule any call by any official in any game. A great deal of those reversals of fortune have been clearly in the Patriots’ favor even when the replay doesn’t show enough evidence to overrule a play seen and called by an official on the field only feet away from the action. There is a pattern that is so consistent it defies happenstance. There needs to be an investigation into the New York officiating office and the New England Patriots.

You can file a complaint with the NFL by clicking the link below, picking ‘Other’, entering ‘File a Complaint’ from the heading drop down and sending them a message. Feel free to copy/taste the text I used for mine. And SHARE THIS ARTICLE WITH ALL NFL TEAMS FANS. It effects all of use.

There needs to be an investigation into the New York officiating office and Patriots. It is beyond happenstance that the NY office could make so many bad calls favoring the Patriots. There is no consistency to their calls other than if it benefits the Patriots the play stands, if it negatively impacts the Patriots the play is overruled. The New York office has been given WAY TOO MUCH POWER. They should be able to suggest a ruling but it should be up the officials on the field to review the play and make the call. If you wanted to  fix an entire season for a team the New York office would be a place to do it. Thank you.

From Ed Bouchette’s article “NFL rulings on touchdowns aided three Patriots wins this season”, where he cites these calls made by the New York office’s Alberto Riveron:

“New England’s Brandin Cooks caught a 25-yard touchdown pass with 23 seconds left to beat Houston 36-33 on Sept. 24. He caught the ball with both feet in the end zone but lost control as he hit the ground out of bounds. It was ruled a touchdown, and Riveron did not overturn it upon review.

  • New York Jets tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins caught a 4-yard touchdown pass against the Patriots, and fumbled through the back of the end zone once he crossed the line. It was ruled a touchdown on the field. Riveron overturned it. The Patriots got the ball at the 20. New England went on to win 24-17 on Oct 15.
  • Then, Sunday night Jesse James caught a pass from Ben Roethlisberger over the middle, was never touched as his knee hit the ground, stretched the ball over the goal line and only then seemed to lose control of it. Riveron overturned the score, putting the ball back at the 10. New England won, 27-24.”

And we can add the touchdown the Buffalo Bills lost to review which was a major momentum changer leading to a Patriots win. A lose could’ve cost New England home field advantage for the playoffs. Kelvin Benjamin made the catch in the endzone got both feet down with possession, yet the TD on the field was overruled by Riveron in the New York Office.

Please take the 5 minutes to tell the NFL they need to investigate this pattern of behavior and take the power out of the New York office’s hands when the rules committee meets in the off-season. Please share this article with NFL fans EVERYWHERE!!!

Thank YOU!

  1. You r an idiot. You hate your life because the PATS win so much. That touchdown with the Bills did not cause them to lose. Also look at the replay no foot down with control. Get a life. I can give u stats, whatever u like. Quit being a hater

  3. No….he has a point…….especially since many a sports caster and professional WR says that Jesse James made more than one football before crossing the line….the rule is bullshit and that ruling cost the steelers the game…….that was a catch….catches ball…pulls ball in turns and lunges over the goal line…TD!!!…anything after the TD was void…..
