Cotchery Back in Fold
- Updated: April 12, 2012
Jerricho Cotchery Resigns with Steelers
Veteran wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery, who signed last year with the Pittsburgh Steelers, is returning to the team with a two-year extension, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
Cotchery came to the Steelers after being let go by the New York Jets last season. The Jets had shown some interest in bringing Cotchery back to New York. The St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs also had interest in him.
In the end, he returns to Pittsburgh where he will settle into a backup role behind up-and-comers Mike Wallace, Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown with the Steelers.
