Steelers sign DL Corbin Bryant
- Updated: October 18, 2012
With one starting offensive lineman out for Sunday’s game and another questionable, the Steelers signed a lineman today — a defensive lineman.
Defensive end Corbin Bryant, who spent most of last season on their practice squad but did appear in one game in 2011, was added to their 53-man roster. They did sign offensive lineman Jacques McClendon to their practice squad and released tight end Jamie McCoy from that unit.
Bryant takes the place of suspended defensive tackle Alameda Ta’amu on the roster. The Steelers will be without offensive right tackle Marcus Gilbert Sunday and center Maurkice Pouncey is questionable for the game.
