Boyd was a star at Clemson before getting drafted in the sixth round of the 2014 draft by the New York Jets. Boyd was cut by the Jets at the end of the preseason and spent time in 2014 with the Florida Blacktips and Boston Brawlers of the Fall Experimental Football League. Boyd recently worked out with the Detroit Lions. On Friday, Boyd tweeted out “it’s a reunion,” tagging former Clemson and current Pittsburgh Steeler wide receiver Martavias Bryant. Boyd immediately took to Twitter and talked about a reunion with former teammate and current Steeler receiver Martavis Bryant.
