Steelers Enter Free Agency Show Interest in Patrick Robinson

After a sluggish start to free agency by the notoriously sluggish Steelers they have finally started to show an interest in free agency by kicking the tires on ex Saints CB Patrick Robinson

The Pittsburgh Steelers have shown interest in free-agent cornerback Patrick Robinson, per ESPN’s Josina Anderson.

The Steelers lost cornerback Brice McCain on Wednesday when he signed a two-year contract with the Miami Dolphins.

Robinson was a first-round pick by the Saints in 2010. He played 14 games for the New Orleans last season and started six of them. The 5-11, 194-pounder intercepted two passes and was credited with 11 passes defended.

The Steelers are now down to William Gay, Cortez Allen and B.W. Webb as the only cornerbacks on their roster with NFL experience.

The Steelers have also scheduled a visit with running back DeAngelo Williams on Friday.
