Submit a Blog Post
At Pittsburgh Blitz, we welcome all Steelers, Pirates & Penguins fans to write about your favorite team, fantasy football or betting on the NFL.
It doesn’t matter if you want to rant, predict, talk about fantasy football or relive your favorite moments in Pittsburgh sporting history.
We don’t care if your writing skills are fantastic or sub-par, our editors will review your blog post and clean it up for you. So what are you waiting for? Join in the fun!
Do you already have your own Pittsburgh sports blog?
Great! Pittsburgh Blitz would love to have you as a guest blogger… Not to mention, it is great promotion for you own blog!
Follow these simple steps:
1. Register as a user. It’s simple, see that little box to the right? Click on the “Register” tab and fill in your username, email address and password, then click “Register”. You are now registered and logged in.
2. Click “Edit Profile” in the login box. Upload a photo, enter your website URL, add your social profiles and include a few sentences about yourself or your website.
3. Click “Submit New Blog Post” in the login box. Add a title, then begin typing away your post content. Don’t forget to select a category for your post. Once finished, click the “Submit for Review” button.
4. Once your post has been published, be sure to share it with all your friends on Facebook, Twitter and Google+!
It really is that simple!
Our editors will review the blog post, add an image to it, tag it with player names and put it in the proper category, if it is not already there. Generally, your post will be published within 24 hours, but may be more if editors need to fill content on a specific day of the week!
Make sure to fill out your profile information… We will enter this info before publishing your post.
Come back and post as often as you like… The more you post and contribute to discussions on other posts, the sooner you will be able to have your posts published instantly!

Make sure your website is listed in our Blog Directory!
It is best for search engine optimization if you do NOT post the same blog post both on Pittsburgh Blitz and on your own website.
Instead:
- Submit your post on Pittsburgh Blitz
- Then, on your website write a post that includes the first paragraph of your Pittsburgh Blitz post, followed by a link to your article on Pittsburgh Blitz
