The Pittsburgh Steelers visit the New England Patriots tonight in the NFL’s Kickoff Game to start the 2015 regular season. New England will be celebrating their Super Bowl XLIX championship, continuing the tradition of the reigning Super Bowl champion playing in the first game of the next season. The Steelers will be looking to knock the Patriots off their perch, the first team to get to take a shot at the champs.
While the rest of the league does not play until Sunday (or Monday) tonight means real football, in real games, is back. How will the season play out? What has the DeflateGate scandal done to the Patriots – galvanized them or given them a hangover? Tonight may not give us all the answers, but it will give us at least the first step in getting us to the answer.
