Steelers Resign Ramon Foster to Three Year Deal

Ramon Foster remains a Pittsburgh Steeler.

Not long after reports began to surface that a deal was close, Steelers offensive lineman Ramon Foster took to social media Wednesday morning and posted that he’ll be back with the Steelers.

“Let’s make more memories,” Foster wrote on his Instagram page alongside a collage of Steelers-related photos.

Foster, 30, played every snap last season at left guard. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazettehad reported Tuesday night that the sides were “closing in” on a deal.

The Steelers generally use the start of free agency primarily to sign their own, and on Tuesday they also did a new deal for cornerback William Gay. Offensive tackleKelvin Beachum is the most notable Steelers player eligible to test the market if he doesn’t get a new deal by 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The left guard, heading into his eighth year in the league, has re-signed with the team on a three-year deal, according to multiple reports.
